Meet our Agents

Melanie Wilson, originally from Brownwood TX, graduated from Texas A&M University.  She has been a resident of Burnet County since 1991 when she married Chris, a fifth generation resident of Burnet.   They could imagine no better place to raise their son Cole, a freshman in Marble Falls High School.  They enjoy water sports on the many lakes, hunting, and raising cattle. 

     Melanie made a commitment to a career in real estate in 2000.  She obtained her insurance license and opened Wilson Insurance in 2005, primarily selling through RVOS Insurance which has been protecting homeowners and ranchers for over 100 years.

     She is passionate about home ownership, both as a vehicle for the financial stability of individuals and as the life blood of our area’s economy.  She also believes the future of our industry hinges on our ability to serve ethically and professionally and to convey our value to the public.

• Texas Tech University where she received her Real Estate license in 2006.
• Member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Highland Lakes Association of Realtors, Real Estate Buyers Agent Council, and several community service organizations.
• In the process of obtaining her Accredited Buyers Agent designation.
• Husband Jerry, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, the joys of her life!
